Happy Weekend
This weekend inspiration is dedicated to my dear friend Kristin "Shake your Bon Bon" Bontrager. I saw this picture and couldn't help but think of her. Kristin has a french bull dog like this one (except cuter) and her name is Petunia Picklebottom and Kristin can rock heels like none other! I met Krisin about 5 years ago and we have been great friends ever since, she has moved to Lithuania to teach abroad for a couple of years but is coming home this summer. Can't wait to have my favorite fashionista sista back!

Wedding Wednesdays
Ok so all yesterday I thought it was Tuesday so I didn't post my wedding Wednesday, then I woke up this morning and realized it was Thursday, so I bring you Wedding Wednesday on a Thursday! Sorry to leave you hanging!!!
How much do you love this inspiration of the beautiful bride and groom relaxing on the dock of the bay. Only if you had the luxury of relaxing this much the day of!! Tim and I plan on sneaking off for a few minutes to soak in the moment! I love the knotted burlap over the chair it is a nice detail instead of doing a bow!
Green Thumb
We have been receiving a lot of garden pots at work and I can't help but get a little giddy. I love the beautiful detailing of some of the pots and something about planting flowers is so soothing and relaxing. This collage is garden inspired and I think I might have to make these linen trousers mine for spring! The crochet bag is the perfect balance of bohemian and pretty.

Wedding Wednesdays
Last week I was debating over color palettes and the overwhelming response was #3, but #5 was a close runner up. I haven't completely decided on these colors but thought I would pull together mini-inspiration. I love the use of the red artichokes mixed into the bouquet, it is a nice unexpected touch. I have always been a red person so adding touches of it in my wedding only seems natural! I also love the single leaf tied with twine on the dinner plates, I love the personal touch! It's all in the details and I can't wait to share all the details I have planned!

Desert Love
Something about the dry heat and warm color palette of the desert makes me what to pack my bags and head to Arizona...although right now it probably isn't that hot!! I love the crochet feminine top mixed with the rugged boots and torn jeans. I think the boots are the perfect spring boot, light in color and can easily transition from fashion to functional on the ranch!

Wedding Wednesdays
At first glance these colors look similar but I have obsessed over each color palette and still can't decide which palette I like the best! So I need your help... vote for your favorite color palette (top to bottom 1-5). Double click on the color strip to enlarge and you can see the colors more clearly. Keep in mind my wedding is September 5th so it will be warm and the beginnings of fall!

Nesting Bug
It's official I am getting the nesting bug!!! I am very excited about the wedding but I am even more excited about our life together and the home that we will build. I have always loved having roommates but there is always a bit of uncertainty with roommates. A roommate might move or get married and so your home may move or change and the roommates may come and go, but I am looking forward to having one roommate and making our house a home. Here is a bit of brainstorming/inspiration I have been pulling to de-bachelorize Tim's house!!

Wedding Wednesdays
Wedding Wednesday is here again to bring more inspiration that goes through my head 24 hours a day. Big news we have a venue, the amazing Dana Powers Barn which fulfills my dream of having a wedding that exuberates rustic elegance. Last weekend I purchased a wedding gown which I am still trying to figure out if I love, the price was too good to be true so I bought it. I already have an amazing and good looking fiance so that is out of the way, phew! Now the big part.... building some inspiration to transform the barn and make my guests feel loved and apart of something beautiful. As far as colors go I am not sure my color palette but I am inspired by earth tones and the colors in these pictures. What do you gals think?
Romantic Mint Green Meets Spring
I feel like mint green is a color that often gets left out in my wardrobe, so I decided to go on a hunt of all things that inspire me with this color! Along the way I threw in some new trends that you will see in this upcoming season. The statement necklace was hugely popular last year but this year trends are taking a new spin on statement t-shirts. Forget your basic white tee, trade it in for a t-shirt that has some flair. You will see a lot of great different silhouettes for knits and more detailing on knits in which you don't need a statement necklace. Your outfit is already in your shirt. Take for instance crisp white tank in the picture with grey ruffles...throw on a pair of boyfriend denim and out the door you go, now that is easy outfitting!
